Job Description:

Perform general stacks maintenance operations.Sort books for reshelving, create ready-to-shelve (RTS) book trucksShelve booksEnsure books are in proper call number orderCollect books left on tables by patronsPerform shifts to alleviate tight areas on shelvesMaintain shelving and pick-up statisticsAssist in planning and execution of large-scale shifts.Pull materials selected for relocation to storage and make updates in Alma.Hire, train, schedule, and supervise student workers in stacks maintenance processes.Assist in making new acquisitions shelf ready.Help patrons locate library materials.Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned
