Overview
An experienced Azure Enterprise Architect is needed to support a Mainframe Transformation project. The candidate will leverage their expertise in Azure architecture and Microsoft technologies to design and implement scalable solutions, replacing existing mainframe infrastructure. This role requires skills in .NET Core, C#, MS SQL Server, and Azure DevOps, as well as the ability to develop custom integrations and manage Azure-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player with strong problem-solving abilities, capable of delivering high-quality work in a dynamic and regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Architectural Design: Develop and implement scalable, secure Azure solutions to support the Mainframe Transformation project.
  
• Technical Expertise: Apply extensive experience with .NET Core, C#, MS SQL Server, and Azure DevOps to improve and enhance applications.
  
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various internal teams to ensure Azure solutions integrate seamlessly with existing systems and meet project requirements.
  
• DevOps: Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to streamline deployments and development processes.
  
• Custom Integrations: Develop custom integrations within Azure environments, including tools such as MuleSoft, GoAnywhere, and SFTP.
  
• Performance Optimization: Optimize applications to ensure high performance and resolve production issues as they arise.
  
• ETL and Data Transformation: Utilize SSIS for developing and maintaining ETL processes to support data migration and transformation between systems (preferred).
  
• Infrastructure Management: Maintain Azure infrastructure across production and non-production environments, ensuring availability and efficiency.
  
• Risk Management: Construct risk assessments and remediation plans to address complex service proposals.
  
• Environment Setup: Use Azure templates to configure new environments quickly and effectively.
  
• Network Configuration: Understand and manage Azure networking concepts to ensure secure and reliable resource connectivity.
  
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and design specifications.
  
• Subject Matter Expert: Act as a technical advisor, providing guidance to both internal and external stakeholders on Azure solutions.
  
  Minimum Requirements
  Required Qualifications

  • Experience:
    
    • 
      
    • 7+ years with Microsoft technologies, including Visual Studio, SQL Server, and ASP.NET MVC.
      
    • 7+ years troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
      
    • 7+ years delivering high-quality work with meticulous attention to detail in a dynamic environment.
      
    • 7+ years of experience with effective verbal and written communication with stakeholders.
      
    • 6+ years in Azure architecture, designing and implementing solutions.
      
    • 6+ years in Azure DevOps, including experience in CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance.
      
    • 6+ years in software development using C# and .NET Core within a team environment.
      
    • 6+ years of technical leadership with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
      
    • 6+ years of understanding Azure networking and infrastructure maintenance for production and non-production environments.
      
    • Ability to create and configure new Azure environments using Azure templates.
      
      
      
    • Education:
      
      • 
        
      • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
        
        
        
        Preferred Qualifications
        
        • 
          
        • 4+ years of experience with PDF generation using iText and familiarity with Mulesoft and GoAnywhere.
          
        • Experience with mainframe migration strategies and familiarity with SSIS for data transformation.
          
        • Knowledge of mainframe technologies and systems is a plus.
